Introduction

This recipe satisfies two servings of fruit and one serving of whole grain. This recipe satisfies two servings of fruit and one serving of whole grain.

Ingredients

    1/2 c of sliced apples (leave the peel on)
    1/4 c of raisins
    2 tbsp of ground flax seed
    dash of cinnamon and cloves to taste
    1 tsp of Agave nectar or other liquid sweetener


Directions

Slice a medium apple (approx. 1/2 c) and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Add 1/4 c of raisins and 2 tbsps of ground flax seed. Add cinnamon, cloves, and sweetener. Mix together. Microwave for 3 minutes.
