TaoDaddy's Healthier Garbage Plates

Introduction

In Rochester, NY, we enjoy garbage plates at Nick Tahou's restaurant. They're so popular that every restaurant around has a version of them. They're also loaded with grease. So here's my relatively healthy version. In Rochester, NY, we enjoy garbage plates at Nick Tahou's restaurant. They're so popular that every restaurant around has a version of them. They're also loaded with grease. So here's my relatively healthy version.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 lb. ground turkey
    1 bag Simply Potatoes Diced Potatoes with Onion
    1 can Bush's Vegetarian Baked Beans
    8 Tbsp Hertzauce

Directions

1. Cook the entire bag of Simply Potatoes in a non-stick pan until they’re golden brown (or until they’re as cooked as you like them) stirring often. Remove from pan.
2. Brown entire pound of ground turkey in the same pan. Drain if necessary.
3. Put 1/4 of the potatoes & 1/4 of the beans on plate, then top with 1/4 of the ground turkey. Top each plate with 2 Tbsp of Hertzauce.

Serving Size: Makes 4 servings
