Number of Servings: 36

Ingredients

    1 cup smooth peanut butter
    1 cup margarine
    1 cup granulated sugar
    1 cup brown sugar, packed
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 1/2 cups white flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt

Tips

Easy to cut the recipe in half if you like.


Directions

Cream peanut butter, margarine and sugars in large bowl. Next, blend in eggs and vanilla.

Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl. Add to peaut butter mixture. Mix well.

Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls ( funnest part as a kid!), place on ungreased baking sheets, and crisscross and flatten slightly with a fork.

Bake at 350 F 12-15 minutes

Serving Size: makes 36 servings of 2 cookies per person
