Introduction

You can substitute fake sugar and leave out the butter. The calorie calculation is for 1/2 cup brown sugar. I've also made it without salt, but it's really better with it. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1.75 cups water
    1 large apple, chopped
    1/4-1/2 cup brown sugar, depending on your likes
    1 Tbsp Butter, optional
    2 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp sea salt, optional
    1/2 cup steel cut oats
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 cup vanilla greek yogurt

Directions

Bring water, sugar, apple, butter, sea salt and cinnamon to a boil. Add oats and simmer for about 25-30 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Let it cool to room temperature and then add yogurt. Chill and enjoy.

Serving Size: 4 servings about 1 cup each
