Allison's Super Granola Version BSB

Ingredients

2 cups of thick rolled oats
2 cups of quick rolled oats
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1 1/2 cups whole almonds
1 cup of pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup of sesame seeds
1/4 cup of chia seeds
I tsp of ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground mace
1 cup unsalted butter
1/3 cup of water
1/2 tsp of sea salt
1 tsp of vanilla.
Tips
Directions
Ground the quick rolled oats into a fine powder. Do not skip this step if you want clumps. And at first you will think its too much to grind up, but it will make sense when you add the wet stuff.
Ground the seeds and nuts into chunks.
Combine above into large bowl. Add spices.
In small pot melt butter, add brown sugar and water. When bubbly add salt and vanilla.
Pour liquid over dry and mix with spoon. If you want to use your hands make sure you test the temperature first.
Put on cookie sheet and cook in 300Celsius oven for 15 minutes, take out, turn over and put back in oven, 10 minutes at a time until golden brown and dry.
Store in an air tight container.
Serving Size: Makes 6 cups all together, Each serving is 1/4 cup
