Ingredients

    *Pacific Saury (ggongchi, fresh) 120g~1 whole fish, 240 gram(s)
    *gochujang, 2 tbsp
    Sesame Oil, 1 1tsp
    Garlic, 3 clove
    Ginger Root, 1 tsp
    *Mirin, Kikkoman manjo aji mirin sweet cookiing rice seasoning, 1 tbsp
    Gochukaru, 6 tsp
    Onions, raw, .5 cup, sliced
    Radishes, 1 cup slices
    Scallions, raw, 2 large
    *Hot Chili Peppers, 1 pepper [optional]
    *Soy Sauce, 1 tbsp

Directions

Clean, gut and chop heads and tails off fish if necessary. You can also use canned saury or sardines for this, make sure they are packed in water. If you add the water they come in to the recipe, I would omit the soy sauce for saltiness.

Lay sliced radish and onion on bottom of pan, then put a row of fish pieces across them. Mix gochujang, gochukaru, mirin, garlic, sesame oil and ginger together in a bowl, spoon the paste over the fish. Add water [or canned fish water] and put lid on and cook for 20 minutes over medium. Add green onions and hot peppers and serve.
