Amber's chili

Ingredients

    2 16 oz rolls of ground turkey
    1 yellow onion, chopped
    1 red onion, chopped
    1 head of garlic peeled and grated
    28 oz can crushed tomatoes
    14.5 oz can stewed tomatoes
    15 oz can tomato sauce
    2 16oz cans low sodium black beans
    1 tsp sea salt
    .25 tsp black pepper
    2 tbs chili powder
    1 tbs cumin
    1 tbs paprika
    1 tsp cayenne pepper
    1 tbs Mrs. Dash extra spicey seasoning blend
    1 tbs Mrs. Dash southwest chipotle seasoning blend

Tips

Add more cayenne for spicier chili. Freeze leftovers in individual containers for easy meals.


Directions

Chop onions and add to pot on medium heat. Cook onions until soft then add ground turkey. Grate the garlic and add to pot. Add the salt and pepper.Add all other spices. Cook until browned. Drain the black beans then add to pot. Add the crushed tomatoes, stewed tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Simmer for at least one hour. Stir occasionally.
