Banana bread - whole wheat

Ingredients

    3/4 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup shortening
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup skim milk
    1 tsp vanilla
    3 bananas (mashed)
    2 cups flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp soda
    1 tsp salt

Directions

Preheat oven 350.

Cream shortening and sugar, then eggs, mix well, add milk and vanilla, mix well, add bananas and mix well.

Add dry ingredients, beat until combined. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake 50-60 min at 350.

Serving Size: Makes 1 loaf - 8 slices
