IntroductionEasy and very tasty way to prepare Brussels Sprouts. Easy and very tasty way to prepare Brussels Sprouts.
4 cups Brussels Sprouts, fresh
4 TBSP Canola oil
0.5 TBSP salt
0.5 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
0.125 cups of Parmesan Cheese
0.125 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese
Could be lightened up some by using low fat cheeses. Also can squeeze lemon juice on them just before serving for added flavor. Another alternative is to sprinkle Balsamic Vinegar over before serving.
2. Mix salt, crushed red pepper, and oil and pour over Brussels Sprouts and then toss. Make sure to coat the Brussels Sprouts evenly.
3. Pour Brussels Sprouts out onto a Cookie Sheet that has been sprayed with cooking oil.
4. Bake in a 400 degree F. oven for 15 minutes and then remove and turn Brussels Sprouts on the pan. Return to oven for 10 more minutes , and then remove and sprinkle with cheeses and return to oven for 5 more minutes. Then remove and allow to cool about 5 minutes and serve.
