Stuffed Green Peppers

Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    6 Med Green Peppers
    1.5 lb ground lean beef
    1 small onion-chopped
    2 cps brown instant rice
    1 cp skim milk
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp celery salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 tsp chili powder
    2-15 oz cans hunts herb sauce
    1/4 tbsp garlic powder

Directions

Core and clean peppers. Brown beef and onion. While beef mixture cooks, in large bowl, mix celery salt, rice, milk, egg, salt & pepper and 3 tbsp herb sauce; stir well. Once beef/onion is browned and drained, add rice mixture to beef. Stuff each pepper with mixture and put in large crock pot (you can also bake in baking dish for 1 hour at 350 degrees). Pour remaining herb sauce over each pepper and cook on low at least 3 hours. Done!

Serving Size: 1 Pepper
