Introduction

Ingredients

    1 c quinoa
    1 c green lentils
    1 pkg Lipton chicken noodle soup mix
    4 c cauliflower, chopped
    1 c broccoli, chopped
    2 leeks, cleane and chopped
    2 T extra virgin olive oil
    curry powder
    turmeric powder

Directions

In large soup pot, start the green lentils in water. After 15 min, add the quinoa and the flavour puck from the Lipton's mix. After 15 min, add cauliflower and broccoli and the noodles from the Liptons mix.

In a fry pan, saute the leeks in olive oil. When soft, add curry and turmeric. Stir to coat. Add to large soup pot.

Simmer together about 20 more minutes. Test the lentils and quinoa to ensure they are cooked.

7 c veg = .3/serving
2c lentils = .08/serving
3 servings = 1 CFG veg item
