1 bag Split Peas (dried)
1 lb. Ham cooked or roasted (lean)
1 cup carrots, (raw)
1/8 tsp. Oregano, ground
2 Bay Leaves
salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp. Sofrito (you can fine it in the frozen Goya section of your grocery store.
fill cooker with 2/3 of water and slow cook till done or till desired thickness (consistency) is achieved.
Makes 8 one C. servings or 4-Two C. servings Enjoy on a cold day for lunch or dinner
