Introduction

I love this recipe! I make the recipe smaller so I don't waste any. (I'm only cooking for myself.) It's quick, easy, and very good! This is also easy to double to feed more! I love this recipe! Ingredients

    1/2 pound ground beef (lean)
    4 ounces cheddar cheese (low fat)
    1 can crescent rolls
    8 ounce sloppy joe sauce

Tips

I use low fat cheddar cheese and reduced fat crescent rolls, as well as 96% lean ground beef. (I've also used ground turkey.)


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground beef; drain. Mix in sloppy joe sauce. Lay half the can of crescent rolls down in an 8x8 casserole, sprayed with cooking spray. Layer meat mixture and cheese, then top with second half of the crescent rolls. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes 4 4-inch servings.
