Introduction

This is my favorite bread recipe. It is a dense bread with a touch of sweet, really good as a side with meals, toast or sandwiches.
I use the dough cycle of my bread machine and cook in the oven.

Number of Servings: 32

Ingredients

    2 cups Water
    1.5 tsp Salt
    1/2 cups Honey
    2 lg Eggs
    3 cups White Flour
    1 cup Multi-Grain Flour
    2 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
    2 tsp Yeast

Tips

This is an adapted recipe from my Bread Machine cook book.


Directions

Put ingredients into bread machine in listed order then select dough cycle. Once dough is done, divide into two loaves and set in warm spot covered to double in size. Then bake in a 350 oven for 30 mins. I based the nutritional values on 14 slices per loaf equalling 28 slices per recipe.

Serving Size: This recipe makes 2 loaves. Aprox 12-14 slices each.
