Curried Tuna Salad

Introduction

High in protein, with a rich and savory flavor, this curried tuna salad will fortify your body and your mind! High in protein, with a rich and savory flavor, this curried tuna salad will fortify your body and your mind!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    -Tuna, Canned in Water, 2 can (12.5 oz), drained (I would suggest Wild Planet tuna, makes a world of difference in flavor and texture)

    -Yellow Mustard, 1 cup
    (your favorite mustard, spicy brown also works)

    -Mayonnaise, regular (mayo), 1 tbsp
    (plenty of brands made with olive oil)

    -Hemp Hearts 3T(Shelled hemp seeds), 3 tbsp

    -Curry Powder, 3 tsp

    - Fresh ground Black Pepper, 1 tbsp

    -Dried/Fresh Basil, 1 tsp

    -Ground Flax Seed - Hodgson Mill Milled Flax Seed, 2 tbsp

    -Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped

Tips

Everything is to taste, sometimes to change it up I'll toss some chopped green spring onions and/or nutritional yeast in there to make tuna melts.


Directions

Chop the onions, mix the ingredients, serve on a whole wheat English muffin, in a wrap, etc.

Simple, tasty, quick.
