Cocoa pancakes

Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1/4 cup sugar
    2 Tbsp baking cocoa
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/8 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp nutmeg
    3/4 cup skim milk
    1/4 cup egg substitute
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 Tbsp butter, melted

Tips

Can eat plain or garnish with powdered sugar, yogurt and berries, peanut butter or whatever (just add the nutrition info for the garnish). Also good with a few mini chocolate chips sprinkled into the batter before you flip them over.


Directions

Blend first six ingredients in small mixing bowl. In separate bowl, combine milk, egg, and vanilla. Add liquids to dry ingredients and stir just until moistened. Heat up griddle or skillet on medium heat. Pour batter onto hot pan coated with cooking spray, flipping when bubbles form on top.

Serving Size: makes 6 medium pancakes
