Tandoori Chicken

Introduction

Great dish for when you are watching your weight. I just "LOVE" it.... Great dish for when you are watching your weight. I just "LOVE" it....
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 chicken breast-no skin/no bone
    1 cup fat free yogurt
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tbsp paprika
    1 tsp coriander, ground
    juice from 1 lime
    3 tbsp fresh cilantro, rough chop
    Kosher Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Start your grill and bring it to temp.
Remove chicken from package and rinse. Pat dry and "fork-it."
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together besides the chicken.
Place the chicken in a pie pan.
Cover with the wet mixture.
Let sit in the fridge for 5 to 60 minutes.
If you let it set to long- it will turn into mush.
Cook and serve with whole wheat flat bread.
You can add fresh spinach, tomatoes & cucumbers.
Great meal on a hot summers night.

  • This is great for anyone on the 17DD! I didn't have time to mess with the grill, and I didn't have any coriander: So I left it in the baking dish and baked it at 400 degrees for around half an hour (until the chicken was cooked through). I served with curried cauliflower. YUM! - 10/8/11
