Never Fail Biscuits

Introduction

These delicious biscuits melt in your mouth and are easy to make. These delicious biscuits melt in your mouth and are easy to make.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    2 Tbsp sugar
    2 tsp Cream of Tartar
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 cup butter or margarine
    1 large egg
    2/3 cup milk

Directions

Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in butter/margarine. Beat egg slightly, add milk then add both to dry ingredients. Stir with a fork until dough follows fork around bowl. Turn onto floured board. Knead for 1 minute. Pat out 1/2" thick. Cut into 12 pieces. Place on baking sheet and bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
