Ingredients

3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3 strips bacon
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
Tips
the juices left in the pan are wonderful poured over the chicken!
Directions
Fry bacon in large non-stick skillet until crisp. Drain bacon on paper towel; pour off bacon fat. Season each chicken breast with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place in hot skillet and cook on one side for 3 minutes; turn and cook on other side 3 minutes. Reduce heat to low and cover. Cook 6 minutes on one side; turn and cook 6 minutes more. Crumble bacon and sprinkle over each breast; do the same with the cheddar cheese. Place cover on pan and turn off heat. Let set 4 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
