Introductionspinach and prune stew with turkey meat (Iranian traditional stew) spinach and prune stew with turkey meat (Iranian traditional stew)
500 grams turkey breast meat cubed
500 gram fresh chupped spinach
1 medium onion (chupped)
lemon juice (2 lemon yield)
20 dried prunes
1tbs oil for frying
1/2 tsp black pepper
add turkey cubes and stirr with onion and add spice and pepper
add 2-3 cups of water and leave on small flame to be cooked.
fry spinach for 10 minutes and leave aside
after 60 minutes add spinach and washed perunes in the pan and let them cook for half an hour more
this stew is served with rice and the recipe is for 5 persons. you can change the amount according to your guests.
