Ground beef, lean, 12 oz
Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
Cheddar Cheese, 1 cup, shredded
Bisquick Gluten Free 1/2 cup
Milk, nonfat (skim milk), 1 cup
Egg substitute: 0.75 cup
Dill Pickles, .25 cup
Yellow Mustard, 1 Tbsp
Ketchup 2 Tbsp
Add or remove condiments to your taste. Try adding bacon or bacon bits for a bacon cheeseburger. Change up the cheese to Swiss and add mushrooms for a Mushroom Swiss Burger Pie. Can be done with ground turkey, chicken or pork.
Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir in salt and pepper to taste. Spread in pie plate, top with the pickles, ketchup and mustard.
In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, milk and eggs until blended. Pour into pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
