Three Bean Chili with TVP

Ingredients



    Bob's Red Mill TVP, 1 cup (remove)
    Vegetable Broth, 1 cup (remove)
    Crushed Tomatoes, 28 oz can
    Vegetable Broth, 2 cup (remove)
    *Great Value All Natural Petite Diced Tomatoes In Tomato Juice 14 oz can
    Beans, pinto, 1 can
    Beans, black, 1 can
    Beans, red kidney, 1 can
    Tomato Paste, 2 tbsp
    *onion, dried minced, 2 tbsp
    Chili powder, 2 tbsp
    Garlic powder, 1 tbsp (remove)
    *Cumin (ground), 2 tsp (remove)
    Salt, 1 tsp (remove)

Directions

First rehydrate the TVP: Mix 1 cup of TVP with 1 cup of warm vegetable broth, cover, and set aside for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile put the remaining ingredients in a large soup pot. Bring contents to a boil, then lower to a simmer. Add in the TVP once itís ready and continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes.
