Introduction

This recipe is used as a guide. Doctor it up as you like. I choose to read labels, limit salt or no added salt, and 90% lean ground beef if it is "con carne." This recipe is used as a guide. Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 can beef broth + 1 can water
    2 cans chili beans
    2 cans chopped tomatoes + juice
    1 med onion, chopped
    1/2 Lg can tomato juice
    Chili seasonings of choice

Tips

Your choice: Add cooked pasta, and/or ground meat (I prefer beef), green pepper, hot peppers, chopped carrots. Make your own chili spice to taste: chili powder, minced garlic, oregano, ground pepper, salt. nlg


Directions

Place all incredients into a pot, bring to a boil, stirring ocassionally. Reducve heat and simmer for awhile.
(Prep time is mostly in opening cans.)

Serving Size: A pot of chili has 6 2 cup servings
