Bisquick Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie

Introduction

This is my delicious and easy to make Bisquick Cheeseburger Pie recipe. This is my delicious and easy to make Bisquick Cheeseburger Pie recipe.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1lb lean ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    1/2 cup Bisquick
    1 cup milk
    2 eggs

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Brown ground beef and onion together until meat is cooked. Mix in salt. Spread in bottom of glass baking pan. Sprinkle cheese on top.

In a separate bowl, mix together Bisquick, milk and eggs (mixture is supposed to be runny). Pour mixture over meat and cheese.

Bake in oven 25 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean.

Makes 6 servings.

  • i put tater on the bottom than added bacon, diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard onion and pickles poured the filling on top and then added the topping...now that was a bacon cheeseburger with fries! - 1/22/14

  • I substitute one can of salmon for the hamburger and add swiss cheese, diced celery and garlic. Delish! You can also do with canned chicken or ham. Add broccoli and bacon with the ham. Be sure to layer your meat and cheese, otherwise all the cheese will be on top and not mixed in.
