1 lb lean ground turkey or chicken (I used extra lean chicken)
1 large onion chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 large can tomato sauce
1 envelope Old El Paso chili seasoning
6 cups drained canned or soaked and cooked kidney beans (I always prepare mine from dry)
Put meat and veggies, beans and tomato sauce into slow cooker. Stir in envelope of chili seasoning and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 3. Can be served over rice or on it's own.
