Birdseed Bars

Introduction

These little delights may look like a birds snack, but wait till you try them. They are a natural energy bar you will love them! These little delights may look like a birds snack, but wait till you try them. They are a natural energy bar you will love them!
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    3/4 c Shredded Coconut
    1/2 c raw cashews
    1/2 c sesame seeds (non toasted)
    3 tsp chia seeds
    1/3 c almond butter
    1/3 c agave or rice syrup
    1/4 c coconut sugar
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1/4 tsp sea salt

Directions

Place coconut & cashews in a food processor or blebder until chunky. Poor into a medium size mixing bowl. Add in the sesame seeds and chia.
Combine almond butter, agave, coconut sugar, vanilla and salt in a small sauce pan and heat on med-low heat until liquified and stir well.
Mix into the dry ingrediants in bowl and stir well. Poor into a parchment lined 8X8 baking dish and bake for 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool. Refridgerate and cut into squares.
