Ingredients

2 large ripe red tomatoes
2 large cucumbers
1 small onion
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 lemon
salt and pepper to taste
Tips
This is also the salad which is put into pita with falafel.
I like to add ground hyssop (similar in flavor to oregano).
When eatten as a side dish, some Israelis like to add seeds such as sesame, sunflower and pumkin (pepitas)
Directions
Chop all vegetables into small pieces. Add the olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper and mix.
