Sweet and Sour Chicken- everday 36

Ingredients

    Ginger Root, 5 tsp(remove)
    Garlic, 1 cup(remove)
    Chinese Five Spice Powder, 5 gram(s)(remove)
    Chicken Thigh, 500 grams(remove)
    Orange Juice, 1 cup(remove)
    Honey, 15 grams(remove)
    *Soy Sauce, 2 tbsp(remove)
    (C) Vinegar, Red Wine (Gr Value), 1 tbsp(remove)
    Cornflour (UK), 15 g(remove)
    Brown rice (1 cup cooked), 1 serving(remove)
    Shallots, 100 tbsp chopped(remove)

Directions

Heat a large non-stick frying pan and add ginger, garlicand five spice powder and cook stirring for 1 minute. Add chicken and cook, stirring for 3 minutes.

Add the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, vinegar and cornflour mixture. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, stirring for 3 minutes or until sauce thickens.



Serving Size: Makes 2 servings with 1/2 C rice each
