Broccoli Cheese Squares

Introduction

Ingredients

    2 (10 oz. each) pkgs frozen chopped broccoli
    4 cups (2 8oz pkgs) 2% shredded cheddar
    1 cup flour
    1/4 cup chopped onion or more if you like alot of onion
    1 tsp baking powder
    1tsp salt
    3 large eggs 1 cup 1% milk
    butter or misto to grease pan
    seasoned salt

Tips

Let stand 5 or 10 min before cutting. These are so good you may eat 2 or 3 squares and still not break the calorie bank.


Directions

Preheat oven to 350, grease a 9x13 inch pan with butter or misto. Steam broccoli until partially cooked about 3 min. Cool and press dry. Beat eggs & milk until frothy, sift together baking powder, flour and salt. Stir in egg/milk mixture, fold in broccoli, cheese & onion. Spoon into baking dish and spread evenly, sprinkle with seasoned salt. Bake 35 min at 350.
