Oven Lamb Stew

Introduction

I came up with this on a whim for dinner. I came up with this on a whim for dinner.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    ~2 lb. lamb stew meat (with bones)
    1/2 cup tomato soup
    3 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
    1 Tsp. minced garlic
    3 Tbsp. white wine
    1 ~7 in. carrot, thinly sliced
    ~1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
    1/2 cup sauerkraut
    1+ Tsp. fennel seed
    1/8 Tsp. ground thyme
    1/4 Tsp. smoked paprika
    1/2 Tsp. iodized sea salt
    sprinkling knox gelatin

Tips

This is an improvised recipe, so I just really did this up to estimate the calories involved. If this inspires you to cook something similar, then I'm glad. :-)


Directions

Combine all ingredients in a covered dish (with meat on bottom and vegetables on top) and bake @ 350F for 1 1/4+ hours until tender or reaches internal temperature of 165F.
