Cardamom Breakfast Quinoa

Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 c quinoa (rinsed)
    1 1/2 c unsweetened almond milk
    1 c water
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/4 kosher salt
    1/2 tsp ground cardamom
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1 Tbsp honey

Tips

You can add berries and fruit or nuts separately.

Directions

1) Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to boil.
2) Cover and reduce heat to low simmer. About 15 mins or until most liquid has evaporated.
3) Remove from heat and allow to stand, covered for 5 mins.
4) Fluff with fork and serve.
