Introduction

This recipe has so much flavor, my family did not realize it was made with turkey instead of traditional ground beef! This recipe has so much flavor, my family did not realize it was made with turkey instead of traditional ground beef!

Ingredients

    1 Tblsp Olive Oil
    1 Tblsp Chili powder
    1/2 Onion diced
    1/2 Green Bell Pepper diced
    1/2 Red Bell Pepper diced
    1 lb Ground Turkey Breast
1 12oz can Red Kidney Beans (can also use pink or white)
1 12oz can of diced tomato
1 8oz can of mexican corn (can leave out if desired)
1 jar salsa (any heat or style)

Tips

Can leave out the Bell peppers and corn (fresh peppers definately bump up the taste). Can add can of tomato sauce too. If using a hot style salsa, use less chili powder if desired (and vice versa).

Directions

Saute Onion, green pepper and red pepper in stock pot until onions are transulent and peppers softened a bit (aout 5 minutes). Add turkey and cook thorougly. Add chili powder, salsa, beans, tomatos, corn and bring to simmer about 5 minutes.
