King Arthur Buttermilk Sourdough Pancakes

Ingredients

    *King Arthur Hi-Maize Fiber, 36 tbsp(remove)
    *King Arthur Flour, unbleached All-Purpose, 2.25 cup(remove)
    Egg, fresh, 2 large(remove)
    *Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 1 tbsp(remove)
    Skim Milk, 2 cup(remove)
    Granulated Sugar, 6 tsp(remove)
    Cinnamon, ground, .5 tsp(remove)
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp(remove)
    Baking Soda, .5 tsp(remove)
    *Sourdough Starter, 1 cup(remove)
    Cider Vinegar, 2 tbsp(remove)

Tips

I use King Arthur's Self Rising Flour...not all purpose flour. This is an adapted recipe from the KA Self Rising Flour pancake recipe...less fat and added sourdough starter.

Directions

measure milk, add vinegar..let rest
in separate bowl, mix all dry ingredients and whisk together
in separate bowl, mix all wet ingredients, including milk/vinegar buttermilk with a whisk until foamy
pour wet mixture over dry mixture, blend gently with spatula until nearly blended...do not over mix.
let rest while you lightly oil griddle and it heats to 350.
ice cream scoop size batter to griddle. when bubble appear...turn for another minute or so.

Serving Size: 26 pancakes 35 grams each
