Light Alfredo Sauce

Introduction

So rich and creamy no one will know it is a light version... So rich and creamy no one will know it is a light version...
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 cup fat free half and half
    3/4 cup 99%fat free chicken broth
    1 tbsp. I can't believe it's not butter, light
    1 cup parmesan, grated
    1 1/2 Tbsp corn starch
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp pepper, black

Tips

If saucie is to thick add a bit more half and half until desired consistancy.


Directions

Melt butter in skillet over med heat. Add cornstarch and stir to make a rue until blended. Add chickne broth stir. Add half and half, stir. Add garlic powder and pepper. Keep stirring and slowly add parmesan stirring the entire time until thick and bubbly. Eat immediately over whole wheat pasta with chicken and brocoli. (pasta, chicken, and brocoli not included in calorie count)
