Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry

Ingredients

    1 bunch broccoli, chopped
    1 cup carrots, chopped
    1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped
    1 tbsp water
    3/4 cup stir fry sauce (Kikkoman)
    2 tbsp dry sherry
    1 tbsp soy sauce
    1 tsp garlic, minced
    1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
    2 tbsp canola oil
    1 1/2 lbs Flank Steak, cut into strips
    1 tsp salt
    1 tbsp pepper

Tips

Jasmine rice is buttery and delicious and healthy to boot!!


Directions

In a small mixing bowl combine the stir fry sauce, sherry, soy sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes; stir to combine. Season beef, then place in a wok filled with the oil over medium heat. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a plate, set aside. Add the vegetables to the wok and fry for another 3 minutes, until tender but still crisp. Return beef and settled juices to wok, then stir in the sauce mixture. Stir everything together until completely incorporated, scraping up the brown bits from the bottom. Fry for another 5 minutes, then serve hot.
