Peanut Butter Breakfast bars

Ingredients

    1 cup Peanut Butter (natural, no sugar added)
    1/2 cup of Honey
    3 cups of Puffed wheat (bought mine from the health store, so just read labels if you're trying to stay healthy)
    1/2 to 1 cup of Raisins or your preference of dried fruit

Directions

Combine peanut butter and honey together. Fold in puffed wheat. Stir in rasins or other fruit. Press into 8x8 or 9x9 in pan, Refrigerate overnight or until set/hardened. Cut into bars.


That was the recipe on the back of the bag. After trying them, I think maybe the honey can be cut back some. Try using 1/4- 1/3 cup. Also what i would do is mix the honey and peanut butter in a different bowl. And then put that mixture into the puffed wheat instead of the other way around. Stop when you have just enough to make the wheat and raisins stick together.

Next time I make these I'll make the changes above and edit this recipe.
