Susan's Banana Bread

Ingredients

    3 bananas
    .75 cups whole wheat flour
    .25 cups white flour
    .5 cups butter
    .75 cups sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp baking soda
    .5 tsp salt
    .5 cups chopped walnuts

Tips

If top gets too cooked cover with foil


Directions

Preheat oven 350
Cream butter & sugar til light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating constantly and fully after each one
In a separate bowl Sift together flours, baking soda and salt and add to creamed mixture
In separate bowl Mash bananas and add vanilla and walnuts. Fold this in
Pour mixture into a nonstick pan or a sprayed glass pan. Bake 50-60 minutes or until tester comes out clean. Cool on rack for ten minutes

Serving Size: Makes a large loaf pan
