Gorgeous Green Smoothie

Ingredients

    2cups Water
    1/2 head of 5cups Spinach
    1 head Romaine lettuce
    Juice from 1/2 Lemon
    3-4 stalks Celery
    1 Banana
    1 Pear
    1 Apple

Tips

This recipe is intended to be blended for a smoothie - not juiced.

It makes a full pitcher's worth and can be refrigerated for several days.


Directions

(It helps immensely to have everything prepared in advance. I chop everything hard until it's smaller than bite size, which makes it so much easier to blend.)

Start with water and spinach and lettuce - blend those first until smooth, add other ingredients with lemon juice and banana being last.

Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy. Try drinking just 6-8oz a day until you're used to drinking green smoothies.

Serving Size: Makes a full pitcher.
