Val's Beef Stew

Val's Beef Stew

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 lbs beef cubes
    2 med onions
    1 can of corn (15 oz)
    1 can of green beans (15 oz)
    1 can of carrots (15 oz)
    5 white potatoes cubed
    4 packs of dry brown gravy
    3 cups of water
    1 cup of chicken broth
    Salt, pepper, garlic powder, accent and thyme to taste
    2 tbsp olive oil

Directions

Sauté onions in olive oil, add meat to brown with seasoning.
Place browned meat, onions and cubed potatoes in crock pot.
Mix dry gravy mix with 3 cups of water and 1 cup of chicken broth and pour over meat.
Cook for 6 to 8 hours or until meat is tender.
Last hour of cooking pour in drained corn, green beans and carrots.

Serving Size: Makes about 8 - 10 bowls
