Slewis's Vegetarian Green Chili Casserole

Introduction

A quick and easy way to make a nice southwestern treat the whole family will love. A quick and easy way to make a nice southwestern treat the whole family will love.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/4 large can Mexicano Green Chilis (whole) (available at Walmart, it's much cheaper to buy them this way)
    Refries
    1 jar Salsa Verde (also available at Walmart)
    2/3 package small (6") Corn Tortillas
    1/2 small tub sour cream
    2 c mozzarella cheese (any kind of shredded meltable cheese will do)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Dice the green chilis. Combine in large mixing bowl with all the ingredients except the tortillas and the cheese. In a large casserole dish, spread a little of the mixture to keep the bottom from burning. Layer 6 of the tortillas on top. Spread the rest of the mixture on top of the tortillas. Cover with another layer of tortillas. Spread cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake until warm at 350 degrees, usually about 30-45 minutes.
