Mock Baked Apple

Introduction

This easy treat will satisfy even the biggest sweet tooth! This easy treat will satisfy even the biggest sweet tooth!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 large apple of any type
    1 tbs honey
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    1 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions

1. Core and peel apple. Slice into 8 equal portions.

2. Arrange apple slices on microwave-safe plate. Drizzle with honey and vanilla and sprinkle with cinnamon.

3. Microwave on high 4-6 minutes, until apple is soft and juice runs from it.

2 servings of 4 apple slices each. For variation consider adding raisins, chopped nuts, or fat-free whipped cream.
