Bread Pretzel (Bread Machine)




Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 cups bread flour
    1 small package yeast
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon sugar
    7/8 cup water
    1.5 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
    1 egg, slightly beaten

Directions

1. Measure all ingredients into bread pan, except egg and coarse salt.
2. Select Dough setting.
3. Press Start.
4. Let it go thru the dough cycle.
5. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
6. Divide dough into 12 pieces. Roll each into 8-inch rope. From into pretzel shape or leave in stick shape. Place on a greased cookie sheet, brush each with beaten egg. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
7. Bake in Preheated oven 12 or 15 minutes.

Serving Size: 12 servings
