Noodle Casserole

Introduction

A fast, easy dinner the kids love. A fast, easy dinner the kids love.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3/4 lb. extra lean ground beef
    1 med onion chopped
    1cup chopped green pepper
    8 oz (dry) egg noodles
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 soup can of water
    2 tsp worcestershire sauce
    parmesan cheese, grated (optional)

Tips

I serve this with tossed salad, steamed green beans, and crusty bread.


Directions

cook noodles according to directions
preheat oven to 350 degrees
brown ground beef in heavy skillet, remove from pan
saute onions and peppers in same skillet
add soup, water, and worcestershire sauce
add beef back to skillet
simmer till beef is cooked and sauce blended (15 min)
drain noodles
combine noodles, and meat mixture in oven casserole dish, bake for 30 min. and serve.
garnish with grated parmesan cheese if desired.

Serving Size: makes 6 1-cup servings
