Ingredients

    fresh brussel sprouts, golf ball sized
    5 cloves garlic, peeled whole
    olive oil for dish
    walnuts
    tahini (dont leave this out - it makes the dish)
    tamari - you can cut it down by half and still only have 125 grams of Na per serving.
    Ovenproof lidded dish

Directions

Preheat oven to350. notch the stem from the brussel sprouts and rinse well. coat the bottom of the dish with olive oil. put in cloves then brussel sprouts. cover.
I try to use a dish that is the same size of the food, so that air pocket is minimized and the food cooks evenly.
bake for 60 minutes. the bottoms should be brown but not burnt.
Remove form dish to avoid burns
Break open sprouts with fork.
mash garlic tahini and tamari with walnut pieces and glaze over the sprouts.
Enjoy!
