1.5 pounds lean or very lean ground beef
1 large egg
3 tbsp. BBQ sauce
3/4 cup italian bread crumbs
1 packet onion soup mix or your own seasoning mix (see tips)
Totally easy, not to bad on the thighs, and has a lot of flavor. I have made my own seasoning of dried minced onion, garlic, salt and pepper all to taste as well. Works great and keeps the sodium down if you would rather not use the onion soup mix.
The BBQ sauce is local...thinner and can be used as a marinade. If you are going to add thicker sauces with more sugar, don't forget to add that onto the nutrition info.
