My Smoothie

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 cup of frozen mixed fruit ( I used Dole Ready-Cut Strawberries, Peaches, and Bananas)
    18 oz. of Nonfat yogurt any flavor* *the nutrition info is based on the Dannon Light & Fit Vanilla
    Approx. a cup and a half of almond milk, although can be made with regular skim milk. Add enough to cover the blender blades, then add more as necessary.
    One fourth to one third cup sugar* to taste
    8 ice cubes

Tips

I thought that the vanilla over powered the fruit taste, try experimenting with different flavors and brands to get the taste you like!


Directions

First you add the liquid and 4-8 ice cubes. Blend until smooth. Then add the fruit, a little at a time. May need to add more liquid depending on your blender. Once all fruit is added, add the yogurt a little at a time. Add Sugar and blend until smooth!

Serving Size: Makes about 3.5-4 12 oz. glasses
