Lou's Scotch Eggs

Ingredients

    Sausage:
    Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 16 oz
    Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain, .5 cup
    Egg, fresh, whole, raw, 1 large
    Garlic, 1 clove
    Onions, raw, .25 cup, chopped
    Sage, ground, 1 tsp
    Thyme, ground, 1 tsp
    Basil, .3 tbsp
    Hard Boiled Egg, 4 large
    Coating:
    Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain, .6 cup
    Egg, fresh, whole, raw, 1 large

Directions

Make sausage by combining all ingredients for sausage, less hard boiled eggs.
Wrap each egg in 1/4 of sausage mix.
Beat large egg and dip sausage wrapped egg.
Cover in bread crumbs.
Bake at 400F for 30-35 min.
Serve.

Serving Size: Makes 4 scotch eggs
