BBQ Meatballs

Introduction

These are really yummy - even my 5 year old loves them! These are really yummy - even my 5 year old loves them!
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    1 medium carrot, shredded
    2 tbsp BBQ sauce
    1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
    1/3 cup skim milk
    500 grams extra lean beef mince
    35 grams bread crumbs

Directions

Place carrot, mince, barbeque sauce, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs and milk in a large bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Use hands to combine mixture. Roll heaped tablespoons of mixture into balls and place on a tray lined with non-stick baking paper. Repeat with remaining mince mixture until you have made 20 meatballs.

Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes at 225 degrees until cooked through. Serve meatballs with tomato salsa if desired.

Serving Size: Makes 20 medium-large meatballs
