1 cup of sliced fresh mushrooms 2 tbls olive oil 1 cup sliced onions 1 clove of garlic minced 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup flour tsp. salt 4 cups milk
This creamy soup serves 6. Sautee in the oil, the onions and then add garlic for a light sautee. Add butter, flour and salt to make a rue. When thickened add milk gradually. Cook until bubbley and smooth. Add mushrooms and heat through. Serve .

I love thick soup and this was great. I did add some paprika to spice up a bit. Also I added steamed green beans to give a bit of color and add a texture. I'm going to freeze it so I hope that it tastes the same.
