Patty Melt

Patty Melt

Introduction

A meal by itself but great with onion rings! My kids call these Krabby Patties, even though they're on bread, not buns. A meal by itself but great with onion rings! My kids call these Krabby Patties, even though they're on bread, not buns.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

Lean Ground Sirloin 10% Fat, 4 oz
Cheddar or Colby Cheese, Low Fat, 1 slice (1 oz)
    Onions, raw, 1 slice, thin
Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 slice, thin/small
Kraft Free French Dressing, 1 serving(s)
Butter, Parkay Spray - 5 sprays, 1 serving
Bread, white (white bread), 2 slices

Tips

The key it so slice everything very, very thin. If pan frying and you want to use the same pan, just wipe out the beef grease with a paper towel.

Directions

Shape the burger into a very, very thin patty. About the thickness of a little finger. Pan fry and gently press to keep it thin while cooking. Spray one side of the bread with the Parkay and spread the French dressing on the other. Layer the burger, onions, tomatoes and cheese between the bread then grill the bread just until it turns golden.

Serving Size: Makes one quarter pound patty melt
